Iceland Passes Gay Marriage Law in Unanimous Vote

Good news in the LGBT circle; Iceland - the only country in the world with an openly homosexual head of state, has recently passed a law that allows same-sex partners to marry. The vote was won with an astoundingly overwhelming majority, 49 to 0.

The Icelandic marriage legislation will now change its wording to include matrimony between “man and man, woman and woman”.
